Merry Christmas from the halls of WHS!
This week WHS is proud to honor Freshman Ke'Sean Paire.
Ke'Sean can be seen around our campus with a positive attitude and a greeting for all he comes in contact with. Ke'Sean is respectful to both adults and peers alike and he never hesitates to help a classmate he sees struggling. Ke'Sean is Freshman Class President, an Athletic Trainer, competes in UIL, and is a member of our Student Council. Outside of school Ke'Sean is a member of the First Baptist Youth Choir and he also proudly represents Woodville on the Hot Wheels Wheelchair Basketball Team out of Houston, where he travels around the country competing against athletes from around the nation. Ke'Sean is overall an exceptional young man around our campus and we are proud to honor him as our Student of the Week!
Ke'Sean was nominated by Algebra Teacher Krystal Hayes.

Sophomore Carlos Hernandez has had a great year so far at WHS and we are very proud to recognize his hard work. Carlos has been striving to improve his grades this year as well as displaying a positive and respectful attitude to those around him. Carlos has gone above and beyond to help his classmate who has been transitioning to life in the US. Carlos goes out of his way each day to help him with his classwork and social skills, all without attention or acclaim from anyone but just out of the kindness of his heart. Carlos has really stepped up in his class participation and in his academic focus this school year, all while working outside of school after hours. Carlos has chosen to step up and contribute as a leader this year on our campus and we are very proud to honor and recognize his positive attitude. Carlos was nominated by Teacher Nicole Baker.

Zack is a bright spot for WHS in both our athletic program and around campus! Not only has Zack proudly represented our school as a very successful Running-back and Safety this past Football Season, he also competes in Varsity Basketball as well as Track & Field for the Eagles. In addition to his Athletic Talents, Zack is one of the kindest and friendliest students on our campus. He is involved in Student Council, is a positive influence on his peers, a hard worker, and he goes through the halls each day with a smile and a greeting for all those he interacts with.
