Good morning. Woodville ISD will not have school on Wednesday and we are monitoring conditions for Thursday. Enjoy the snow and stay safe and warm!

Woodville ISD will not have school on Tuesday due to the anticipated severe winter storm headed our way. There are increasing chances of snow and/or freezing rain which would impact our ability to get students and staff to and from school safely. We will continue to monitor the weather for Wednesday. We will notify students/parents/staff through our emergency notification system should changes need to be made to Wednesday's schedule. In addition, we will post all updates to social media.

We know there are growing concerns over the weather forecasts for next week. We will monitor the weather and make decisions as needed as early as we reliably can. All credible information we have received indicates it is just too early to predict how we will be impacted other than cold temperatures. We will have school despite the cold as long as roads are clear and students/staff can get to and from school safely. School may be delayed or cancelled only if the roads are so bad that safe transportation is at risk - ice, snow, flooding, etc. - or if there are power, heat or water outages that impact the school.

🎉 We celebrate advanced academics in public schools! 📚
🎓Students are prepared for college and can place out of college credits through AP courses and testing.
✏️ Courses are designed to provide students with more rigorous, in-depth, and accelerated learning experiences, often tailored for high-achieving or gifted students.
🌟The goal is to challenge students academically, encourage critical thinking, and prepare them for college and career success.
👉🏼 With dual credit courses, students can dive into college-level coursework early. They gain college credit hours, giving them a head start on college life.
🎊👏 That's a lot to celebrate! #CelebrateTexasPublicSchools

January is School Board Appreciation Month!

🎉✨The holidays are a time for reflection and celebration. 🎉✨
📚 In public education, our mission is clear: educate every child. We build strong communities. 🤝 We create brighter futures. 🌟 And we do it together with our families. ❤️ We're grateful. #CelebrateTexasPublicSchools

Woodville ISD is cancelling classes next Thursday and Friday, December 19th and 20th. We want every student and staff member to have the opportunity to travel to Arlington to support our Eagle Football Team!
