
Congratulations to Payton Flannery who is Woodville High School’s Student of the Week. Payton is a junior who is involved in numerous school activities. This year she has started the WHS Eagles for Christ. Payton is the Vice President of WHS FFA and is a member of HOSA and the National Honor Society. She is a three-year student council member and will serve as president this year. She was recently elected as Junior Class Historian. Payton always has a smile on her face and is willing to help. She was nominated by her English teacher, Mrs. D’Entremont.


Several clubs and organizations along with faculty and staff members took part in this year's Angel Tree program and donated toys and clothing for children in Tyler County.
Thank you National Honor Society, FFA, Interact, Student Council, Pre-AP Biology, AP Chemistry, Girl's Athletics, Debate, WHS office staff, WISD administration team, the high school and elementary food service team, and all the individuals who participated!


Cole Standley is Student of the Week for Woodville High School. Cole is an outstanding freshman who plays football, is active in FFA and National Honor Society. Cole enjoys playing baseball outside of school and is very active in his church. Lara Robinson, Cole’s English teacher, praises him for his excellent work ethic and his desire to go above and beyond what is expected.


Senior Emily Mixon is the Woodville High School Student of the Week for the week of November 10th. Emily is a standout player for the award-winning Eagles volleyball team. She was recently named district offensive player of the year and to the academic all-state team. She is a member of Student Council, Future Farmers of America and the Eagles Powerlifting Team and was a princess in the Homecoming Court. Emily’s teachers describe her as a conscientious student who leads by quiet example.


EOC retests will be next week, December 10-13.
Tests will begin at 7:50am.

Friday, December 13 - Make Up Tests

November Employee of the Month is Janay Wigley!!
Ms. Wigley is always willing to do whatever is needed, especially helping Ms. Bryan with SAT/ACT and TSI testing! She doesn't mind staying after school and/or working weekends. Her positive attitude and work ethic are what makes her an asset to our campus!
Congratulations Ms. Wigley!!

Employee of the Month for October is Mrs. Gem White!
Mrs. White is a positive, dedicated influence for our students and staff at WHS! In addition to teaching art and theatre design, Mrs. White also directs WMS and WHS One Act Play. The theatre program at WHS continues to advance beyond district competition while providing a wonderful, creative outlet for many of our students.
