Benefit being held for WHS student, Dylan Bruton.
January is School Board Appreciation Month!
So exciting to watch the future of Woodville ISD in progress!
Woodville ISD administrators took a little field trip today! Mrs. Meysembourg loaded up district administrators and took them to tour the progress being made on the new school site. Everyone is getting so excited!!!!
Woodville ISD's Child Nutrition Department was awarded $85,000 from the Texas Department of Agriculture as part of the Texas Local Food for Schools Program! This program strengthens the connections between schools and communities by providing funds for fresh fruits, vegetables and meat; encouraging purchases from local, small businesses.
We are so excited, this benefits everyone involved, but especially our WISD students!!!
Woodville ISD wants to assure everyone that our office is aware of the potential for severe weather tomorrow afternoon/evening. At this time, there is no plan to cancel or alter Thursday's school schedule. We will closely monitor the situation and coordinate with local emergency personnel as we move into tomorrow. As always, we will provide updates through social media and our district emergency alert system if necessary.
So proud of these ladies!!!! We were notified they met the state criteria for TIA (Teacher Incentive Allotment) for Woodville ISD. TEA still has to review and validate the data before officially awarding them the designations, but validations aside, they have proven themselves as exceptional teachers and we want to recognize and celebrate them!
It is one of our favorite traditions here at Woodville ISD. Our annual Thanksgiving lunch prepared by the Food Service Department. They had a little help serving things up today! Thank you lunch ladies for the wonderful food!!!!

The shelter in place order issued earlier today affecting some areas of Tyler County has been lifted. We appreciate the patience and understanding of our staff, students and community as we monitored and navigated the situation.
Woodville ISD is aware of the notice put out through the Tyler County Emergency Management's Office regarding the explosion in Shepherd and the resulting plume of smoke. At this time, we are not included in the warning as the prevailing winds do not affect us. However in an abundance of caution we are limiting outside activities for students and staff as we monitor the situation. We will send out additional information through our alert system should that be necessary.
