Woodville Middle School and High School are collecting "Toys for Tots". The deadline to donate is Friday, December 13th. There are collection boxes in the foyer of each campus and toys can also be dropped of at tonight's Middle School basketball game. Consider giving to a good cause!
Due to the distance, game time and the number of buses and drivers needed, Woodville ISD will once again have an early release on Thursday at 1:45pm. This will allow us to get all students home safely on the regular routes and have buses and drivers return to transport all student support groups to the game ontime (band, drill, and cheer, etc.) We will have a regular school schedule on Friday, December 13.
All events scheduled for Thursday afternoon/evening have been cancelled or rescheduled as follows:
MS and HS Christmas Band Concert - Cancelled
Wheat Winter Wonderland - Rescheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2025
Meet the HS Principal - Rescheduled (time and date to be determined)
🌟 Let's take a moment to celebrate our exceptional educators, dedicated counselors, and compassionate nurses. These remarkable professionals work tirelessly behind the scenes, nurturing not just academic growth, but also fostering a sense of belonging and self-worth in every student. #CelebrateTexasPublicSchools
These are exciting times at Woodville ISD. As you all have probably heard, our Woodville Eagle Football team is making school history! The next round of playoffs will be Friday, December 6th at 7:00 p.m. vs Daingerfield at Palestine High School. We will be the home team; tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. THSCA, UIL, Senior Citizen and Military passes will be accepted.
With that being said, students will release at 1:45 on Friday. We need to run our bus routes early in order to get our buses and drivers back in enough time to transport all our student groups to the game on time.
We hope to see everyone at the game, come support our Eagles!!!!!
🤝 We shine a spotlight on the ways our students connect with the community by serving others. Throughout the year, they volunteer their time and talents to give to organizations. ❤️
As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” 💖 #CelebrateTexasPublicSchools

On October 3, 2024, WISD was notified that a WISD teacher/coach, Zachary Truelove, assigned to the Middle and High School campuses was arrested. The District immediately removed the individual from all school related responsibilities, and he is no longer employed by the school district. As a standard practice, we do not publicize ongoing investigations in an attempt to safeguard the investigatory process. However, as knowledge of the arrest has now become widespread, the District obtained consent from law enforcement to issue a statement informing our community that the District is aware and took swift, appropriate action to address the concern.
While we cannot provide detailed information, it is the District’s understanding that the investigation does not relate to school-based conduct or students of WISD. Nevertheless, District leadership remains committed to working transparently with parents and the community, while also navigating the complexities of cooperating with law enforcement and complying with confidentiality laws. It is a tight rope we walk to keep our stakeholders informed when handling multifaceted personnel issues. We appreciate our community and parent’s trust and partnership as we all work towards the common goal of safeguarding the educational environment for our students.
Don't Miss Out!!! Good Food for a Good Cause!!!!
