Information on Woodville ISD's Summer Feeding Program
We are on the home stretch - finishing the 2023-2024 school year. We are happy to report that TEA has approved the waivers we submitted for the missed time due to all the bad weather we have had. WE DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE UP ANY MINUTES/DAYS. We will finish the school year exactly as our current calendar reflects. We will dismiss Thursday, May 23rd at 1:00 pm.
Woodville ISD is canceling school today due to power outages and flooding. Stay safe.
Due to this afternoon's severe rain and flooding, Woodville ISD will have a two hour delay in the morning to give us time to evaluate road conditions, buses will run two hours later than normal. School will start at 10, staff will report at 9. No breakfast will be served.
Monday afternoon, board members, administrators and Woodville Elementary School staff had the opportunity to sign a massive support beam that will be installed in the school. The signatures will serve as a visible reminder of some of those that were able to be a part of this memorable event in our school's history.

Woodville ISD will have an early release at 2:00pm today due to predicted severe weather in our area between 4-6pm. We want to ensure that all students and staff arrive home safely before the storms hit. We anticipate a regular start time tomorrow. Stay safe and dry!

Good morning. Woodville ISD is cancelling school today due to continued flooding and hazardous road conditions. School will resume at regular hours on Monday. Have a great weekend and stay safe.
I understand there is some confusion with the message that went out earlier. To clarify, weather permitting, Woodville ISD will have a delayed start tomorrow at 9:15am. Staff will arrive at 9:00. Buses will pick up two hours later than usual which will have them arriving at school by 9:15am. We will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and will make a final call no later than 7:30am should we need to cancel for safety reasons. Thank you.
At this time Woodville ISD is planning a delayed start tomorrow, Friday, May 3rd. Buses will run 2 hours later than normal; school will start at 9:15. There will be a grab and go breakfast available for students. This will give us time to evaluate overnight weather and road conditions. Staff will need to report no later than 9:00 a.m. If it becomes necessary to cancel school, a decision will be made no later than 7:30 a.m.
After consulting with Emergency Management and area Superintendents, Woodville ISD will release at 9:30 this morning to ensure our students and staff are able to get home safely. Based on the earlier forecast, we had hoped we could have school until early afternoon, but the weather is unpredictable. This decision is being made after seeing the predicted continued severe rainfall for today. We will continue monitoring the situation and will advise via emergency alert and social media on what to expect for tomorrows schedule.

Power has been restored and Woodville ISD will have school today with classes starting at 9:50am. Buses will run regular schedule 2 hours later than usual. No breakfast will be served. Staff should report in by 9:30.
