Mr. Minyard is a graduate of Colmesneil HS, earning his Bachelor's at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, his Masters in Education at Tarleton State University, and his superintendent certification through Texas A&M Commerce.
He began his teaching career in 1989 working in various districts throughout the state as a teacher, coach, asst. principal. and principal. He spent 4 years in Marshall ISD as Asst. Principal, Academic Dean, CIY coordinator, and Testing Coordinator and is currently completing his 8th year as High School Principal in Evadale.
Mr. Minyard has a solid reputation as a strong campus leader with high expectations for staff and students (as well as himself); a firm, consistent disciplinarian; and a man of integrity and trust.
