Obtaining Immunization Exemption

Physical Activity for Students in School
WISD board policy ensures that elementary and secondary students engage in at least the amount and level of physical activity required by Education Code 28.002(I) (See attached policy EHAB and EHAC)

Vending Machines
The district has adopted policies and implemented procedures to comply with agency and food service guidelines for restricting student access to vending machines. For more information regarding these policies and guidelines see the Director of Food Services,

Physical Fitness Assessment
Annually, the district will conduct a physical fitness assessment of students in grades 3- 12 who are enrolled in a physical education course or a course for which physical education credit is awarded. At the end of the school year, a parent may submit a written request to the principal to obtain the results of his or her child's physical fitness assessment conducted during the school year.
